I’m utterly confused by it, cause the town I’m from, is home to an extremely religious university, yet you do not see the kind of harassment you would expect, especially with Kankakee only five minutes away.

I really don’t get this town. I’ll be glad when I can go to Chicago for my graduate studies.

That’s just… awful. Where I go to uni, the city… It’s very Catholic with minority religions scattered throughout (I’m lucky enough to have ONE Pagan-friendly shop in town).

I, too, have high plans to run away to some place better… NYC, maybe?
